12:33 am Infatuation

I changed my blog’s theme and playlist and oh goodness, I am infatuated with it. The all white, and piano melodies creates such a mystifying ambiance, I just — *A*

My week started off pretty terrible because emotional and physical pain, but it ended with me getting infatuated with so many things!

The first is the Zankyou no Terror OST which is seriously the most amazing musical pieces I’ve heard in a long time, easily at the top of my list. The first two songs in my playlist are from it :)) (von and walt)!!

The second is vsco cam! I’ve had the app for a long time, yet I’ve just recently noticed that it’s a community full of photographers (most of which are minimalistic) and it’s so cool! In their “journal” they had a little part on modern creativity in China. I skimmed through it and instantly was drawn towards this guy who goes by the name Lame, and does graffiti! REALLY FRICKEN’ COOL!!

The third is street style. Not just any street style though — STREET STYLE IN INDIA!!

Irrelevant (sorta), but it was exactly one year ago when my family and I had our first major trip out of the country to India, and, when my siblings and I received A HUGE CULTURE SHOCK. I’ll make a post about my India trip later (I’m a bit surprised that I still vividly remember it!) but for now I can that once I finally settled in and got used to the environment, I fell in looooooove. With India, and my culture, and so many other things!

So I saw a post on buzzfeed on street style in India and I immediately fell head over heels with what I saw. There was one specific girl in the list that I instantly became taken with. Her name is Oona and she was a fashion blogger (discontinued her blog) and there was something about her that reminded me of Mega, a fashion blogger in Australia, another whom I adore! I’m sad she discontinued it :(

I probably would of spent hours reading her stuff (depending on how much content she had) and observing her pictures to see what her style is like/what kind of person she is and wow that sounds pretty creepy, but you know what, I won’t deny that I do this. Being observant and analytical is part of my character, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There’s also a post going around called, “The Art of Indianism” which is going to be a blog about fusing traditional indian clothing with modern clothes AND HOLY FRICK I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THAT!!

Another irrelevant thing but my family and I are currently mourning the 1 year death anniversary of my cousin. The actual date was Sept. 3, and this year on the same day another family member from my dad’s side of the family passed away. I’m not entirely sure who, but she lived to be 104. I’m assuming she lived a fulfilling life.

During this mourning period, my family and I are not to wear any black or to eat any meat. I’m not familiar with our customs so I don’t know how long I’ll be doing this, but I feel that it will be a bit difficult for me….well the being vegetarian part at least….

Ahh well, I’m very content with how this week ended :) though I think I’d be happier if I wasn’t sick…

I did not like to be touched, but it was a strange dislike. I did not like to be touched because I craved it too much. I wanted to be held very tight so I would not break. Even now, when people lean down to touch me, or hug me, or put a hand on my shoulder, I hold my breath. I turn my face. I want to cry.

I’ve caught a cold.

I thought it was just allergies.

I should of seen this coming, with the fluctuating temperatures and weather and all.

09.10.14 - Mother Nature’s “Gift”

I started my period yesterday and it’s sorta mild compared to what I’ve had to deal with in the past few years, but it’s no “breeze” either.

I’ve got this pain in my lower back and hips and this often happens with my periods and it usually goes away within a couple of hours after I’ve started, but this time the pain’s intense and it’s been two full days and the pain is still there (currently a little less than before since my mom massaged my back for me and oh goodness that was a wonderful 10 minutes)

Anyway, it got really bad last night, like so bad that I couldn’t go to sleep and I ended up looking up massage techniques that’d help get rid of it or at least let the pain die down a bit and I laid in my bed massaging myself which was pretty difficult and sorta weird. I even tried doing some yoga poses but those were no help.

This morning was even worse. The pain increased; it hurt when I walked around, it hurt when I sat down in various positions; the worst was when I was driving. Oh my god, it was so painful and uncomfortable I could hardly bear it.

As of now the pain has died down quite a bit, however it’s still there. This is only the second day so I’m sure this pain won’t last (the way my period works is, that the first day or two are extremely painful and then the rest are a breeze).

I also get incredibly emotional while on it, and oh goodness…with today’s episode of free! I was crying for awhile….;A; well I probably would of cried even if I weren’t on my period, but being on it made me…cry more….?

Ahh well that’s how my week is going so far. Though this period is unbearable, I’m grateful I got it before school started. Had I gotten it then, oh my god, I’d go insane,
